Dear Friends,
Teamwork it is a necessity for this ministry to be fruitful. Over the years we have been here we have been building a team. Many have come along and joined us in this work, some for a few months, some for a few years. Most have had to move on for various reasons with our demanding and busy lives these days or military transfers. Joe & Amy Southam have been a stronghold on this team for many years. As Associates Amy helps regularly with meals, Joe does much of the teaching on Tuesday nights and assists in leadership when we are out of town. What a blessing they are to us! Tim & Sue Morris fill a different role on the team. As retirees their schedule is more flexible. They help with meals on a regular basis and when we are gone they take care of the food pick ups in addition to being in charge of the meals. Tim is also very handy in a variety of tasks, from fixing computers to plumbing to woodwork. They are a great encouragement to us! The Lord has recently sent us a new member of the team named Scott. Recently retired from the Navy, he will be moving into the bunk room. Numerous projects have already been accomplished. He is especially handy with outdoor work, like cutting down trees. Also on his to do list is to help us convert the bunk room so that there will be two more private rooms, in addition to a smaller open area with bunks. We look forward to seeing what God is going to do through this new team member. You are an essential part of this team also. Without your prayers, support and encouragement on our behalf we would not be here nor be effective in our ministry. Your investment as part of this team has allowed us to move forward in this ministry. What a blessing and encouragement you are to us!
