Dear Friends, People often wonder how such an encouraging and helpful ministry can go unheard of for many folks who could benefit from it. We try to get the word out about the Center and all that we offer. Ads are placed, invitations are passed out, posters are hung, but we still find those who are amazed they had not heard of it before they actually find us. We continue to let people know that the best advertisement is word of mouth and changed lives. An e-mail came to us one day from Brian Trainer. Brian used to be one of the assistant pastors at our local church here in Virginia Beach, but is now the dean of students at Faith Baptist Bible College. He was letting us know that he had given information about the ministry to one of the graduating students. Andrea had joined the Army and was being stationed in the area to attend school at the Armed Forces School of Music. Andrea has been a blessing to us as we watch her desire to grow in Christ and share her faith. Since arriving and being allowed off base Andrea has attended Colonial Baptist Church and Bible studies at the Center with us. It is not uncommon for her to have an extra person with her to come along when we pick her up. Her decision to join the Army came from her desire to minister to the military in an up close and personal way. We appreciate people like Brian who spread the word about this ministry. We enjoy people like Andrea who come out and get involved. We give thanks for people like you who support us with your prayers, finances and encouragement. Pray with us that more people will hear the word about this place to be refreshed and encouraged. Pray with us that more workers will join in the battle for these precious souls.
